NEET Exam Date 2025 and Schedule​

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official NEET 2025 exam schedule. The NEET 2025 process spans several months, covering registration, admit card issuance, exam day, answer key release, results, and counselling. Below are the official dates for key NEET 2025 events:

1. NEET 2026 Application Form

The registration period began on February 7, 2025, and ends on March 7, 2025, at 11:50 PM. Between March 9 and March 11, 2025, applicants may correct any errors in their submitted forms.

2. NEET 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip

Before the admit card release, NTA will issue an advance exam city intimation slip to inform candidates
about their allotted exam city. This helps them make necessary travel arrangements in advance.
• NTA will issue the city intimation slip by 26th April 2025, which informs candidates of their allotted
exam city.

3. NEET 2026 Admit Card

The NEET 2025 admit card is a mandatory document for exam day. It contains essential details such as
the candidate’s roll number, exam center, and exam instructions.
• The admit card will be available for download by 1st May 2025.
• It must be carried to the exam center along with a valid photo ID.

4. NEET UG 2026 Exam Date and Details

NEET 2025 will be conducted in a pen-and-paper (offline) mode across various centers in India and
abroad.

• Exam Date: 4th May 2025(Sunday)

• Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
• Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM IST
• Mode: Offline (Pen & Paper-based)
• Exam Centers: Across India and selected international locations.

5. NEET 2026 Answer Key

After the exam, NTA will release the provisional answer key on May 15, 2025 (Expected) along with candidates’ OMR response sheets. This allows students to verify their responses and raise objections if needed.
• Candidates will be given a window to raise objections against the provisional answer key.
• The final NEET 2025 answer key will be published before the result declaration.

6. NEET 2026 Result

The NEET 2025 result will determine the candidates’ eligibility for medical admissions. NEET 2025 result date will be available online, and students must log in with their credentials to check their scores.
• The NEET 2025 result will be announced by 14th June 2025 (Tentative).

7. NEET 2026 Counselling

The NEET counselling 2025 date will begin in July 2025 and continue for several months. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and respective state authorities will conduct counselling for seat allocation.

The process includes:
1. Registration – Candidates must register online for counselling.
2. Choice Filling & Locking – Candidates will choose their preferred colleges and courses.
3. Seat Allotment – Seats will be allocated based on rank, preferences, and category.
4. Reporting to College – Candidates must report to the allotted college for document verification and admission.
